Program Note

The old warship creaked as it cut through the turbulent sea, its tattered sails straining against the howling wind. A sudden flash lit the dark horizon as cannons roared, their thunder rolling across the waves like a storm given voice. Smoke and fire swallowed the deck, yet the ship pressed forward, undaunted, locked in a desperate dance with fate. As the enemy loomed through the chaos, the crew braced for the next broadside—one final, decisive strike before the sea claimed its own.
