Program Note
The chase begins with a sudden burst of movement, footsteps pounding against the earth as the gap between hunter and hunted shifts with every turn. Breath tightens, muscles burn, but neither can afford to stop—the unknown looms just ahead, the danger just behind. Whether it ends in escape or capture, the pursuit itself is unstoppable, driven by instinct, urgency, and the thrill of the chase.
